A key contractor of Amulsar gold mine project, Energy Net Construction has announced they can no longer maintain 120 main jobs held by residents of local communities and other marzes of Armenia.

“Our company performs as one of the main contractors in Amulsar project and deals with high-voltage power networks and earthworks.

After over a month of forced downtime, we have to announce that unfortunately, we can no longer maintain 120 main jobs held by residents of the local communities and other marzes of Armenia.

We leave the matters of ecology to experts and corresponding state structure with hope that the situation around the project will be settled soon and the people who lost their jobs to it will be able to take them back,” reads the Energy Net Construction statement.
