Yerevan, August 24 /Mediamax/. The revenues of “ArmenTel” Company in the second quarter of 2007 made $58mln 350 thousands, $23mln 140 thousands of which fell on the share of the mobile connection, and $35mln 210 thousands - on the share of the fixed connection.

Mediamax reports that the report, following the results of the financial and operations activity of “VimpelCom” in the second quarter of 2007, reads this.

The revenues of “ArmenTel” in the first quarter of 2007 made $54mln 70 thousands, $19mln 830 thousands fell on the share of the mobile connection, and $34mln 240 thousands - the fixed connection. Thus, the growth of revenues made 7.9%.

The OIBDA index (Operating Income before Depreciation and Amortization) of “ArmenTel” in the second quarter of 2007 made $30mln 70thousands. In the first quarter the given index made $27mln 310 thousands. The growth of OIBDA made 10.1%.

The net income of “ArmenTel” in the second quarter made $3mln 960thousands. In the first quarter the given index stood at $2mln 550 thousands. The growth of the net income made 55.3%.

The number of active subscribers of the mobile network of “ArmenTel” in the second quarter of 2007 reached 471.000. The growth made 7.1%, as compared to the first quarter, when the Company had 439.900 subscribers.

At the same time, if in the first quarter the share of “ArmenTel” in the mobile connection market of Armenia stood at 37.3%, in the second quarter it made 33.2%.

“The Company is concerned with the reported erosion of our subscriber market share; we believe that it is largely driven by changing the source of our market share data from internal estimations to AC&M-Consulting. Nonetheless, we are dissatisfied with the absolute level of our market share in Armenia and building it will be our main near-term priority”, the report reads.

The average revenue per user (ARPU) of the mobile network of “ArmenTel” Company made $17.3 in April-June of 2007. In January-March the ARPU of “ArmenTel” mobile network stood at $14.5. The ARPU growth made 19.3%.
