Yerevan, July 23 /Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” announced today that from now on the service of mobile internet GPRS is available for the pre-pay subscribers of the Company.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of the Company today, to start the GPRS-Internet and GPRS-WAP services, the pre-pay subscribers of “ArmenTel” should call to the short number 0674 from their cell phone and follow the voice commands.

The cost of 1MB transfer/receipt of GPRS data makes 90 drams /VAT included/, and the cost of 10KB of transfer/receipt of WAP data – 30 drams /VAT included/. The monthly subscriber fee will make 360 drams.

Mediamax notes that “ArmenTel” launched GPRS to commercial exploitation for contract subscribers in mid-May of 2007.
