The Baku Stock Exchange opened talks with the JP Morgan and Citigroup on concluding broker agreements and agreements on opening REPO accounts.

“I believe that by the end of the current year the investors will gain opportunity to make deals on the securities market of Azerbaijan. On the whole, the year of 2007 will be market by the arrival of large institutional investors on the market”, the Chairman of the Board of the Baku Stock Exchange Khayal Abdinov stated.

Starting from July of 2007, the Baku and Warsaw Stock Exchanges will start cooperating on providing information on the securities markets of the both countries. The cooperation will be realized basing on the pact on information mutual aid, signed in 2007.
