National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) sent to all the commercial banks, functioning in the country, a form for self-assessment of the situation of corporative management standards implementation.

As Trend was told in NBA, all in all, there are 6 standards established: IT, internal audit, risk management, financial management and accounting, strategic planning and organizational structure, human resources.

A form for self-assessment on only two standards is sent to the banks yet.

The implementation of corporative management standards became a requirement in Azerbaijan after the approval of the law “On banks”.
