NASDAQ OMX Armenia held FinTech in Stock Exchange Industry international conference in Yerevan.

The conference on June 15 was attended by 23 companies from 8 countries, including representatives from various stock exchanges, Central Bank of Armenia, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Percival leading CSD system provider, Funderbeam crowdfunding platform etc.

According to the bourse, participating stock exchanges and FinTech companies introduced their technological solutions, established mutual business relations and shared their experience.

NASDAQ OMX Armenia introduced on-line system (in Armenian) of servicing Treasury direct via gp.minfin.am, as an example of innovative FinTech solution. Developed in cooperation with Ministry of Finance of Armenia, the system enables individuals to purchase government bonds on-line, directly from the Government paying with their credit cards.

NASDAQ OMX Armenia hosted Annual General Meeting (GM) of the International Association of Exchanges of CIS Countries on 15-16 June, Yerevan. GM approved the report on 2016 activities, as well as highlighted future actives of the association.

International Association of Exchanges of CIS Countries was established in 2000, Moscow. Involving 20 companies from 10 countries, the Association is aimed at coordinating activities on development of regulated financial markets, as well as assisting in adherence to international standards.
