The Resident Representative of IMF for Armenia Teresa Daban Sanchez introduced today Yulia Ustyugova to Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia. The latter will replace her in that position two months later.According to the Ministry, Yulia Ustyugova represented the expectations of her activity in Armenia.Minister Karayan greeted Yulia Ustyugova and expressed confidence that the future cooperation would be effective.“All the sectors of IMF’s cooperation with Armenia have a direct impact on our economy, including fiscal, monetary policy, business environment improvement, etc. I am interested in closer cooperation,” Suren Karayan said. Bank.am remarks that Teresa Daban Sanchez has led IMF in Armenia since 2013. Yulia Ustyugova has worked in IMF since 2007. Before, she held the position of an economist at Bank of Russia.
