“Bank TuranAlem” plans to gain no less that 5% coverage of the Georgian banking market. Mediamax reports referring “News-Georgia” that the Chairman of “Bank TuranAlem” JSC (BTA) Roman Solodchenko stated that the Georgian BTA-Silk Road Bank intends to preserve the gained growth speeds. Last year, the assets of the bank increased three times. “We plan to offer the Georgian consumers the whole spectrum of banking services, including mortgage crediting”, Roman Solodchenko stated. He informed that in Georgia the bank has an impressive investments portfolio; considerable funds are invested in the development of tourism complexes, in the “United Telecom” Company and other projects. “To which position in Georgia the 5% coverage of the banking sector will lead us depends in how other banks of the country will be developing. I can say that our position will be a leading one”, Roman Solodchenko stated. BTA works on the Georgian market since 2005, being the founder of the BTA-Silk Road Bank.
