President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said today that the creation of Research and Development (R&D) centers in Armenia by Philip Morris International Management S.A. will be perceived positively by the public.

Serzh Sargsyan made that statement at the meeting with Drago Azinovic, President of Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa Region at Philip Morris International Management S.A. in Yerevan today.

According to the President, that initiative will receive support from Armenia’s tech centers, including the Gyumri Technological Center.

“By promoting talents and technological development, you create an opportunity for advancing your country and thus becoming one of the world leaders,” Drago Azinovic said in his turn.
