Yerevan, February 28 /Mediamax/. Armenian President Robert Kocharian held a working meeting today with the Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Tigran Sarkisian, during which the macroeconomic indices of the beginning of the year were described as “unexampled”. As Mediamax was told in the presidential press service today, during the meeting the positive tendencies in the structure of the export-import were singled out, according to which the specific weight of the imported equipment and new technologies to Armenia considerably increased. The Chairman of the Central Bank informed the Armenian President that in January an unexampled, 12% growth of banking deposits by citizens was registered, which is an evidence of the increase of trust of the citizens for the banking system.
