On December 15 Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), German International Cooperation (GIZ), Armenian Lawyers’ Association and European Business Association signed the Grant Contract for implementation of Evidenced-based Advocacy for Reform.UITE informs that this project is designed to ensure maximum influence on the government’s SME business environment policy through a range of interventions, that include informal meetings and round tables, public seminars, working groups and the development of policy papers. An innovative aspect is the creation of a whistle-blowing website which will enable businesses to register corruption and other issues, and which will give the project solid evidence upon which to base its reform suggestions. The project will strengthen the participating BMOs (Business Membership Organizations), which will gain experience and influence in public-private dialogue and will provide new, enhanced services to their members.
