The Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) set up a joint commission for the examination of the condition of corporate management in the banking sphere of a number of Eurasian states, including Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia. Mediamax reports referring Trend that the Financial-Budget Committee of the Georgian parliament informed that representatives of the Central Banks, banking associations and legislative bodies of the countries of the region, as well as the Basel Committee for Banking Control, will be participating in the work of the Commission. During the work, the Commission will examine the credit and financial policy, being practiced in Eurasian states, the situation in risk management, the division of management functions and the observing board in the banking sector, the degree of transparency of corporate management, the cooperation between the bodies of banking control and the regulators of the financial market. Based on the results of the study, corresponding recommendation will be worked out.
