Yerevan, February 5 /Mediamax/. The World Bank and the U.S. Agency for International Development /USAID/ expressed readiness to render technical assistance to Armenia in holding pension reform.

Mediamax reports that the Chairman of the Armenian Central Bank Tigran Sarkisian stated in Yerevan today that the pension reform, which provides for establishing an accumulating system, most likely, will start being realized in Armenia in 2009.

Tigran Sarkisian noted that in the course of 2007-2008, corresponding laws will be adopted; work on informing the population will be carried out.
