Armenian subsidiary of Lydian International previously called Geoteam changed its name to Lydian Armenia.

According to the company the name change is connected with the fact that Amulsar project is entering a new stage.

“The decision has come with an understanding that as the team working in Armenia will grow into a large team of Geoteam, Lydian International, several large contractors working together on the largest investment in the country, we will need one name and identity to operate Amulsar project under. For more than 10 years Lydian International has been presenting Amulsar project and Armenia in international markets and it has gained a large name recognition and strong association with its flagship project in Armenia. A common name will help the project have one logo and identity”, the statement reads.

The company noted that the name change of Geoteam to Lydian Armenia does not imply any other legal changes. The company will continue to operate under the same legal conditions as it was under the previous name. Lydian Armenia CJSC (previously Geoteam CJSC) is registered in Armenia and subject to all Armenian laws.
