In the frame of the state visit to the Republic of Armenia, the delegation headed by President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman accompanied by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian visited Yerevan Brandy Company. According to Yerevan Brandy Company press service, the delegation visited the Ageing Cellar of the Yerevan Brandy Company, where they were introduced to the rich history and production process of the legendary Armenian Brandy ARARAT. “The President stopped at the Peace Barrel, founded in 2001 in honor of the co-chairs of the Minsk Group of OSCE, visited factory in 2001. The barrel is called “Peace” as it will be opened when Karabakh conflict is resolved. Miloš Zeman also signed in ARARAT memory book,” states the press release of Yerevan Brandy Company.As a part of the tradition, a special barrel was founded in the honor of the President of the Czech Republic.At the end of the tour, a bottle of Exclusive ARARAT Brandy, made from the rarest spirits of the company, has been presented to the President.
