Yerevan, December 19 /Mediamax/. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) granted a credit to the Brasseries Internationales Holdings Company at the whole sum of $15mln, aiming at supporting the acquisition of the “Kotayk” brewery in Armenia and strengthening of the Georgian branch of the Company - Castel Sakartvelo.

As Mediamax was told in EBRD, the funds will be invested in the improvement of the production and new technologies, as during the latest years, “Kotayk” has faced strengthening competition on the market.

Castel Sakartvelo at present covers the 14% of the beer market of Georgia.
