Armenia is the 93rd among 142 countries by Prosperity Index. British Legatum Institute’s Prosperity Index results read this. As compared to last year, Armenia has improved the ranking by 2 positions. The ranking is based on 8 main sub-indexes - economy, entrepreneurship and opportunity, governance, education, health, safety and security, personal freedom and social capital. Thus, Armenia ranks the 126 by economy index, 69th by entrepreneurship index, the 92nd by governance index, 49th by education index, 86th by health index, 55th by security and safety index, 119th by personal freedom index and 124th by social capital index.Azerbaijan is the 71st (+8), Georgia - 80th (the same), Turkey - 78th (+8) and Iran - 106th (+1). Russia is the 58th (+1 against last year). Norway is the leader for already 7 years. It’s followed by Switzerland and Denmark. The top 10 also comprises New Zealand, Sweden, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, Finland and Ireland.
