A new head of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC (ENA) has been appointed today.

ENA spokesperson Natalya Sarjanyan told Banks.am that Karen Harutyunyan was appointed the General Director of the company.

“Karen Harutyunyan has extensive expertise in the system and ENA”, Natalya Sarjanyan said.

According to her, the new appointment was conditioned by the change of the company’s owner.

Former head of ENA Yevgeny Bibin has held the post since January 2011.

The details of the new appointment will be revealed on the company’s website later.

It should be recalled that on September 30, 2015, Tashir Group and Inter RAO signed an agreement on sales and purchase of the electric assets of the Republic of Armenia.
