Former Secretary of the National Security Council, Orinats Yerkir Party leader Artur Baghdasaryan has become a member of the Board of Directors of Russian MTS-Bank.

Information about it was posted on the bank’s official website.

At that, the website does not provide information on when Artur Baghdasaryan became member of the Board of Directors.

Spokesman for Orinats Yerkir Party Artur Misakyan confirmed to Mediamax that Artur Baghdasaryan was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of MTS-Bank.

“As of now, I cannot reveal more details but that information is true,” said Artur Misakyan.

According to him, Artur Baghdasaryan’s appointment to this post won’t impede the latter’s active involvement in politics.

“As it is known, a few months ago Artur Baghdasaryan was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Rosneft. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of several Armenian HEIs. So there won’t be any problem with holding more than one appointment,” he said.
