Yerevan, October 12 /Mediamax/. The International Interbank Conference “Money Transfers. Retail banking Services” opened in Yerevan.

Mediamax reports that speaking at a news conference on October 11, the President of the Union of Armenian Banks Stepan Gishian stated that the Armenian banking system is actively presented in the systems of money transfers all over the world, and this is first of all conditioned by the factor of the Armenian Diaspora.

The organizers of the Conference are the “Planet Diaspora” Company (Russia) and the “ANELIK-money transfers” system. The conference is supported by the Association of Russian Banks, the Association of Regional Banks of Russia, the Union of Armenian Banks and the Moscow International Monetary Association.

As the Conference Organizational Committee Chairwoman Marina Kocharian stated, the “Money Transfers. Retail Banking Services” Conference, which is held in Yerevan for the third time already, plays an important part in the strengthening and establishment of productive cooperation between the banking structures of CIS states.
