Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller said that Armenia will have discounted gas supply. Alexey Miller stated it in a video material prepared by “Russia-24” TV channel. The video material reflects on Gazprom CEO’s visit to Armenia in mid-April this year. Alexey Miller noted that the abovementioned agreement was reached at the meeting with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. “Accounted by its EEU membership, Armenia will have a cut in gas prices. Armenia will pay USD 165 per 1000 cubic meters of gas instead of previous USD 190 per 1000 cubic meters. It should be said that such a price will enable us to invest in gas transportation infrastructures and modernize them,” said the Gazprom CEO.Alexey Miller also informed that along with the Armenian party they are developing a general scheme of power supply and gasification, which will be ready by fall. According to him, they aim to bring the level of gasification in Armenia to 100%.
