The delegation of the Initiatives for Development of Armenia (IDeA) Foundation held meetings in the NKR government on February 9 -10. They discussed issues related to the Ecovillage program in Artsakh.

The meetings particularly focused on the obligations of the sides and preparatory works. The discussions also involved representatives of local structures.

It was agreed to submit the project to the Board of Trustees of IDeA Foundation and NKR government till early march, and the preparatory works will be over by mid May.

At the meeting, the sides decided that the Foundation support the NKR government in establishment of National Park adjacent to the Ecovillage.

The agenda of the meeting of IDeA General Director Armen Gevorgyan and NKR President Bako Sahakyan also included issues related to implementation of the Ecovillage program.

Armen Gevorgyan said that the team of the program was formed and they carried out  daily works involving local and international specialists.

Bako Sahakyan noted that Artsakh has high expectations of the cooperation with IDeA Foundation which will have a positive impact on development of a number of fields in Artsakh.
