Yerevan, August 24 /Mediamax/. The possible suspension of gas supply to Georgia by the “Itera” Company will not affect the volumes of gas supply to Armenia, said the “ArmRosgasprom” spokesperson Shushan Sardarian in an interview to Mediamax today. Shushan Sardarian said that Georgia receives gas not only from “Itera”, but also from “Gasexport”- the subsidiary of “Gasprom”, which also supplies gas to Armenia. “Gasexport” covers the transit expenses of gas supply from Georgia to Armenia. “ArmRosgasprom” spokesperson noted that Armenia does not have any debts to “Gasexport”. The daily average need of Armenia for gas during summer months makes 3.5mln cubic meters, which the republic gets in whole volume. As the Georgian “Rustavi 2” TV Channel reports, “Itera” has explained the suspension of gas supply by the fact that Georgian gas-distributing companies owe it $6mln dollars. Tweet Views 8150
