Yerevan, August 10 /Mediamax/. The territorial administration of the Rospotrebnadzor in Moscow described the publication of the information about the stoppage of the wholesale trade license of the “P.R. Rus’” in their website as “a technical mistake”. P.R. Rus’ is the branch establishment of the French Pernod Ricard Company, which is the Yerevan Brandy Company’s exclusive supplier to Russia.

The Russian “Kommersant” newspaper reported this today. At the same time, the press service representative of the territorial administration of the Federal Tax Office in Moscow, Maria Pravdivaya, told the journalists that the license of the P.R. Rus’ was stopped already in June of 2006, but she refused to inform the journalists about whether the license activities are restored or not.

In the Russian Representative Office of Pernod Ricard “Kommersant” was told that the company continues to work in the same mode of operation. During the coming days P.R. Rus’ will publish a special statement of the committee of directors of the company concerning the current situation.
