Yerevan, July 28 /Mediamax/. During its existence the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Center of Armenia (SME DNC of Armenia) granted over 100 loan guaranties totaling nearly 325mln AMD.

The Director of SME DNC of Armenia, Ishkhan Karapetian, stated in Yerevan today that granting loan guaranties allowed SMEs to receive loans in the total amount of 630mln AMD, Mediamax reports. By the end of the year this index is planned to be increased up to 850mln AMD.

In the first half of 2006, the Center granted 38 loan guaranties totaling 131,4mln AMD, which allowed the businessmen to receive loans in the total amount of 263,1mln AMD.

The average amount of loan guarantee made 3,4mln AMD.

The partner-banks of the SME DNC are 5 commercial banks: The Agricultural Cooperative Bank of Armenia (ACBA), Anelik Bank, Ardshininvestbank, Inecobank, Unibank.
