Yerevan, July 27 /Mediamax/. Representatives of Microsoft, Intel and Alcatel agreed to take part in the international conference on the development of WiMax and WiFi in Armenia, to be held in Yerevan this September within the framework of the third Armenia-Diaspora forum. The Director of Enterprise Incubator Foundation, Bagrat Yengibarian, said this in Yerevan today, Mediamax reports. On October 6-8, the DigiTech 2006 international exhibition will take place in Yerevan. The exhibition will be attended by 70 companies, including 15 international ones, among them Mitsubishi-Electric, Microsoft, National Instruments, etc. The exhibition will be held from September to October within the framework of the Month of Information Technologies, announced by the Armenian government. About 15 various events - contests, conferences, exhibitions - are to take place in Yerevan within the Month. Chairman of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), Hovanes Avoyan, expressed hope that these events will allow solving the problems the Armenian IT sphere faces today. He stressed that the lack of personnel in this sphere is still an urgent problem, and there is a critical need of IT managers and IT market specialists today. Tweet Views 9395
