Yerevan, July 20. /Mediamax/. The growth of Armenia’s GDP in January-June 2006 totaled 11,8% as compared to the same period last year.

As the press service of the National Statistical Service of Armenia told Mediamax today, the GDP volume in January-June 2006 totaled 809235.7mln drams.

The volume of industrial production in the republic in January- June 2006 stood at 300688.5mln drams, having decreased by 1% as compared to the same period 2005.

The average monthly salary in Armenia in January- June 2006 increased by 21,6% as compared to the same period last year, thus making 59618 drams. The salary of budget organizations has increased by 21,9%, making 41844 drams during the accounting period, and the salary of non-budget organizations stood at 73040 drams (growth - 20,7%).
