Mastercard has embarked on a new venture that aims to bolster the small business community worldwide.

The driving force behind the development of Mastercard Small Business AI is to provide small business owners with personalized guidance crucial for their growth and success.

The Mastercard Small Business AI is an inclusive Artificial Intelligence tool designed to deliver real-time, customized assistance to small business owners. This tool will help them navigate various business challenges by providing relevant and timely guidance.

The Generative AI tool will not only utilize Mastercard’s existing content but will also incorporate licensed business content from a newly formed global media coalition. This includes contributions from Blavity Media Group, Group Black, Newsweek, and TelevisaUnivision, enriching the tool with diverse perspectives and resources.

Scheduled for a pilot launch in the U.S. later this year, the goal is to eventually roll it out in international markets. Mastercard is also planning to involve additional partners globally to enhance the tool’s local relevance and impact.
