Sberbank has launched a new service: money transfer to any person with cash withdrawal from ATM.

The bank’s press service has announced that now clients can transfer money at any moment via Sberbank Online and withdraw the cash from Sberbank ATMs or offices.

The mobile phone number or the full name of the recipient is enough to make the transfer. The sender can cancel the transfer while it is not completed. To receive the transfer, the recipient needs to indicate the secret code provided via SMS.

“We keep expanding the possibilities for money transfers. Additionally to the transfers to CIS and other countries, we have introduced a new method of money transfer in Russia. Now any resident, no matter if a Sberbank client or not, can use the advantages of a large network of Sberbank’s ATMs and offices to receive money transfers,” said the bank’s Director of the Payments and Transfers Division Igor Mamontov.

Sberbank notifies the sender and the recipient about every change of status of their transfer. For instance, the bank notifies the sender via SMS that the cash has been withdrawn.

The new service is available in 27 regions of Russia. In the future, all Sberbank Online clients will be able to use it.
