Clients of Alpha-Bank have got the opportunity of instant order and issuance of debit cards in Alpha-Mobile app.

According to the bank’s press service, clients can immediately add their cards to Apple Pay and pay for purchases via smartphones everywhere with an available terminal for contactless payments, on applications and webpages.
 
Clients with the mentioned cards can withdraw cash and refill their account via ATMs, complaint with Mastercard contactless payment technology.

“Alpha-Bank is the first establishment in Russian market to offer clients this opportunity,” the bank noted.


The new technology allows the clients of Alpha-Bank to order and access the necessary card in less than a minute. In addition to Alpha-Bank’s mobile application, clients can order the cards at any of the bank’s branches, via telephone or internet-bank. They will instantly receive a notification on the screen of their Apple smartphone, while the card will be available in Alpha-Mobile app in only a few seconds. Clients only need to follow the link from the notification and attach the selected card to Apple Pay and use it to pay for purchases and services.

Alpha-Bank will refine this technology in 2018. Soon the service will be accessible for clients with Android compliant smartphones.
