Ardshinbank issued bonds on international financial market on December 9 and attracted USD 75mln. Ardshinbank placed its bonds with a three-year maturity term with the support of J.P.Morgan investment bank which acted as the lead manager. Moody's rating agency granted Ardshinbank Ba2 rating to issue the bonds; it’s a level higher than the bank’s current Ba3 rating. The bonds are listed in Vienna Stock Exchange, and the bond clearing is carried out in Euroclear and Clearstream systems. The proceeds of the bond issuance will be used to expand the operations the bank’s strategy envisages. “We are proud that Ardshinbank is the first private structure in Armenia to place bonds on the international capital markets. This is a remarkable achievement not only for our bank, but also for our country, as it helps put Armenian private companies on the “map” of international financial markets," said CEO of Ardshinbank Mher Grigoryan.
