Yerevan /Mediamax/.  Membership to Customs Union creates new opportunities for the Nagorno Karabakh, said Chairman of Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of National Assembly of Armenia Gagik Minasyan today.

According to him, the membership particularly creates opportunities for economic activity and involving new investments.

“Armenia becomes part of Eurasian Economic Union and Armenia and NKR are joint economic territory without customs border”, he said.

Gagik Minasyan noted that witout joining the Customs Union, Nagorno Karabakh “de facto becomes a territory of the Union”.

According to the Chairman of the Committee, Armenia will have the status of a member of Customs Union till July 1.
