Bringing tax and customs legislation in line with the Customs Union laws will be the priority of the Ministry of Finance of Armenia in 2014.Armenian Minister of Finance Davit Sargsyan said this noting that the relevant task forces started their activities to this end, Mediamax reports.Touching upon the issue of entering Ruble zone in case of membership to Customs Union, the Minister of Finance said that neither Russia nor other Customs Union states made such a statement and there is no such decision."As of now there is no talk on Ruble zone and common currency in the initiative concerning common economic space", said the Minister. Answering the question how the current inflation of Russian Ruble will influence Armenian economy, the Minister said:"The economic developments taking place in Russia are critical for our country. 2013 was marked with slowdown of economic growth in Russia as well as in a number of developing countries what couldn't but have an influence on us, naturally.
