Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended the opening ceremony of Hyatt Place Yerevan Hotel today.

The construction works of Hyatt Place Yerevan which is located next to Republic Square and is built in place of the second building of former Erebuni Hotel were launched in 2011 and completed this year.

Around USD15 million have been invested in the construction of the hotel up to now.

According to the representatives of the hotel's owner 'Interarm-M company as well as Hyatt Hotels Corporation (the latter manages the hotel), the opening of Hyatt Place Yerevan will boost quality improvement in the hospitality sector.
