Yerevan/Mediamax/. "Tatev Gates" tourism complex which includes "TaTever Ropeway" starts new services from July.

Director of "TaTever" ropeway Vahan Meliksetyan said during his meeting with representatives of tourism agencies in Yerevan today that from now on, mountaineering, biking and hiking, panorama show, planetarium, audio-guide and kite rent and new souvenir booths will open.

"4 tariff packages are available - standard, family, business and student. We also have the following discount for tourism agencies - 5% discount in case of 5000- 10 000 customers, and 7% - for more than 10 000 customers", said Vahan Meliksetyan.

He also noted that "Tatevatun" restaurant is open in the tourism zone. Director of the restaurant Davit Gabrielyan said that the menu of the restaurant mainly comprises Armenian dishes including old traditional dishes. The restaurant is open every day except for Monday, at 10:00 - 20:00.

Vahan Meliksetyan also noted that the whole return from will be allocated to reconstruction of Tatev monastery and development of adjacent zones.

According to him, the longest two-way ropeway which started operating from October 2010 has transported around 150 000 people so far.
