Azerbaijan's strategic currency reserves increased by 2.6% against early 2013 and reached USD48bln.

Azerbaijani Minister of Taxes Fazil Mammadov said this today, Trend reports.

According to him, the mentioned sum is enough for funding 3-year import of Azerbaijan and "it's one of the most significant indices on the global level from the standpoint of economic security".
