Yerevan/Mediamax/. Yuri Gusev is appointed the General Director-Chairman of Directorate of VTB Bank (Armenia). The relevant decision was made by the Board of the Bank.

Mikhail Yakunin, head of the Department of Subsidiaries- Senior Vice President of the VTB Bank, Chairman of Board of VTB Bank (Armenia), introduced the new head of the a bank in Yerevan today.

He noted Yuri Gusev has extensive work experience in financial sector and has successfully fulfilled the tasks he\'s been given ensuring effective work and high results.

Yuri Gusev has worked in VTB Group since 2008. In 2009, he held the position of the Financial Director of VTB Bank (Armenia) and since 2010 was the member of the Directorate of the Bank. Since February 2012, he was the acting General Director- Chairman of the Directorate.

\"We are sure that headed by him, VTB Bank (Armenia) will actively develop its business in the future as well and move toward the intended ambitious goals. Now, we are going to work out and revise the strategy of the bank\'s development for coming 3-5 years. We hope that Yuri will take an active part both in the elaboration and successful implementation of this ambitious strategy\", noted Mikhail Yakunin.

The new strategy particularly envisages active development of the production line and attraction of new products to the Armenian market. \"We are going to actively develop products both in retail and corporate segments including factoring and other types\", stated Mikhail Yakunin.

\"There is certain segment we don\'t quite actively work in - it\'s small enterprise. Overall, the strategy of VTB Bank (Armenia) is to get involved in the segment more actively. Today we are working out the new offer for the market segment for 2013. We will also work on the speed of decision-making and risk assessment\", assured Yuri Gusev.

\"Regarding market loaning, we have quite a strong business line. Now we are considering the opportunity of launching another tool - consumer lending. But these are only plans for the next year yet\", stated Yuri Gusev.
