Yerevan/Mediamax/.  Minister of Transport and Communication of Armenia Manuk Vardanyan and “La Post” French Group Director for Overseas Operations Jean Paul Forsville discussed issues related to modernization of “HayPost” today.

The discussions focused on the agreement concluded between “La Post” and “HayPost” in 2010, Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communication of Armenia.

The French side reported that the works on modernization and enhancement of effectiveness of letter and parcel delivery will finish in the nearest future.

In his turn, Manuk Vardanyan said that a group of experts is currently working on bringing the law on post of Armenia in line with the European standards.

The Minister also presented the requirements laid to the contenders for managing “HayPost”: modernization of post divisions and introduction of modern technologies, set number of divisions, provision of universal services and advanced trainings of the staff in particular. The Minister offered “La Post” representatives to include the above mentioned requirements into the package of offers which will also be included into “Hay Post” business plan.
