Yerevan/Mediamax/. 2mln money transfers were made through “Anelik” money transfer system in 2011 which exceeds the indices of 2010 by about 50%.

The transfer turnover grew by 13% having exceeded the index of USD 1bln. Number of transfers made in Russian rubles considerably increased – the index grew by 37% against 2010 in particular.

““Anelik” system operating in 63 thousand service points in over 90 countries is used by 9 Armenian banks on Armenia’s territory which suggests the high authority and reputation of the system not only in Armenia but also in other countries”, the statement reads.

“New offers and opportunities are expected in terms of “Anelik” system in 2012. They will allow the clients to use its services at lower rates and tariffs and more quickly”, noted head of the Division of Operations on Financial Markets and Correspondent Relations of “Anelik” CJSC Arman Shushyan.
