Yerevan/Mediamax/. 10 banks and 1 credit organization were included into the list of top 100 taxpayers in Armenia as of the first half-year of 2011.

HSBC Bank Armenia became the largest taxpayer in Armenian banking sector in January-June 2011, ranking 14th on the list, Mediamax news agency reports. The total sum of the taxes paid by the bank made AMD 1 bln 942mln 012.1 thousand.

VTB Bank (Armenia) ranks 18th, having paid taxes of AMD 1bln560 mln703.4 thousand. AGBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK ranks 21st (AMD 1bln 390 mln073 thousand).

Ardshininvestbank (35th place, AMD 1bln 040mln 160.4thousand), Ameriabank (39th place, AMD 933mln 687.2 thousand), Unibank (45th place, AMD871mln 923.9thousand, Inecobank (55th place, AMD 716mln 892.6thousand), ARARATBANK (74th place, AMD 517mln 728.6thousand), Armbusinessbank (76th place, AMD 502mln391thousand) and Bank Anelik (84th place, AMD 467mln 784thousand) were also included into the list.

“AREGAK’’ Universal Credit Organization (UCO) ranks 93d on the list: as of the first half-year the total sum of the paid taxes made AMD 432mln 726.1 thousand).

In terms of the sum of social benefits, “AGBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK” is the leader of the sphere (11st place, AMD 255mln 176.4 thousand). “VTB Bank” (Armenia) (AMD 220mln 850 thousand) is the 15th, and “Ardshininvestbank” is the 16th (AMD 199mln 304thousand).
