Yerevan/Mediamax/. Session of the Committee of Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Unites is taking place in Yerevan. At the session, the representatives of financial intelligence unites from 30 countries will sign over 50 memoranda on struggling against money laundering and financial terrorism. Armenian Central Bank’s (CB) Center for Financial Research gained the status of the full member of Egmont Group on May 29, 2007. Egmont Group (www.egmontgroup.org) was established in 1995 aiming at creating a single cooperation platform in order to combat money laundering and terrorism financing.
