“Vedomosti” newspaper reads that “Vardanyan has first-hand knowledge of “Rosgosstrakh”” and notes that in 2001 and 2003, the consortium of investors, headed by “Troika Dialogue”, purchased the control package of “Rosgosstrakh”, in 2002, Ruben Vardanyan was the General Director of the Company, and in 2004 he headed “Rosgosstrakh” Board of Directors.

Recently, “Rosgosstrakh” informed that the shareholders of the group started to prepare the group for an IPO.
