Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in May 2011 made $474.7mln or AMD 177.2bln, having increased by 23%, as compared to the same period of 2010.As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service of Armenia today, in May, the export volume grew by 39.7%, making AMD 42.8bln or $114.3mln during the accounting period. The import volume in May 2011 grew by 18.5% as compared to same period of last year, making AMD 134.4bln or $360.4mln.The deficit of foreign trade balance in May 2011 made AMD 91.6bln (increase, as compared to April, made AMD 6.5bln) or $246.1mln (increase by USD 18.5mln).
