Yerevan/Mediamax/. The Head of the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA), Ashot Osipyan, said today that in 2010 the crediting of agriculture made 6% from the total volume of provided credits.

At the same time, Ashot Osipyan said that in 2010 the number of loans provided in agricultural sphere grew by 19%, Mediamax reports.

The farmers in Armavir, Ararat and Kotayk marzes are credited most actively.

The average interest rate of loans in the sphere of agriculture made 17-19%.
