Yerevan/Mediamax/. Russian “Gazprombank” and “Areximbank-Gazprombank Group” started realizing money transfers between Russia and Armenia without opening an account via their international plastic cards of MasterCard system.

The advantage of the new type of transfers is that the customer can transfer and receive financial means at any time of the day by means of cash machines of “Gazprombank” in Russia and “Areximbank-Gazprombank Group” in Armenia.

So far, the transfers are realized only in RR. On the territory of Armenia the transfers are issued in AMD.

The total volume of transfers by individual customers of the bank between Russia and Armenia in 2010 made 6.298bln AMD, and the number of transfers – 26 188. It is expected that with introduction of the new service in 2011 the volume of transfers between Russia and Armenia will increase by 5-10%.
