Yerevan/Mediamax/. Today, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian discussed the problems of allocation of pensions in January 2011. Speaking at government’s session today, Tigran Sargsian said that the Control Chamber of Armenia fixed queues as well as problems with the lists of pensioners during the distribution of pensions, Mediamax reports. According to him, about 400 pensioners did not receive their pensions. Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artur Grigoryan said that in accord with the new order of allocation of pensions, besides 90 offices of “Haypost”, 11 banks and 4 payment account companies will pay the pensions. Relevant agreements have been signed with them. Artur Grigoryan also noted that the new order is called to reduce queues, and “in February we will be able to mark significant changes in this direction.” Artur Grigoryan noted that the new order envisages improvement of the service quality, reduction of corruption risks and liberalization of the field. Armenian PM ordered the Ministry to quickly resolve all issues bothering the pensioners. “We create grounds for criticism and social tensions in vain. These issues should be necessarily resolved in order not to displease our pensioners. Our goal is to guarantee uninterrupted allocation of pensions and create such a system that our pensioners could themselves choose the place and the way of receiving pensions,” Tigran Sargsian stressed.
