Yerevan/Mediamax/. “VTB Bank (Armenia)” concluded an agreement with State Social Security Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia on cashless payment of pensions via bank account or card.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the bank that since March, 2011, pensioners will be able to receive their pensions via plastic cards of “VTB Bank (Armenia)” CJSC, at that, two packages will be offered: “Pension Privileged” and “Pension Standard”. Pensioners will be provided free of charge Visa plastic cards at special service conditions.

In case of making payments by means of the cards, pensioners will be provided discount in medical, dental centers, optics stores and drugstores, as well as at the bank partners’ sales and service points.

Pensioners will be able to receive their pension from any cash machine 24 hours a day. Besides, they will be able to accumulate their financial means on the card accounts and receive interest rates.

In order to receive the pension by means of the card, pensioners should turn to any branch of “VTB Bank (Armenia)” and conclude the corresponding agreement. As of today, about 44 thousand pensioners are serviced in 68 branches of the bank.
