Yerevan/Mediamax/. In 2010, Armenian entrepreneurs are less optimistic concerning economic situation in the country, than they were in 2009. Mediamax reports that the annual research of Grant Thornton International in 36 countries, held by the method of polling heads of private enterprises, reads this. According to the research, 32% of polled entrepreneurs are optimistic concerning Armenian economy for the next 12 months, as compared to 46% in 2009 and 61% in 2008. 33% of the polled expect increase in employment indices in the country, while 35% expected increase in employment indices in 2009, and 63% - in 2008. As main factors, deterring growth of business, Armenian entrepreneurs note decline in demand (46%), as well as state regulation and bureaucracy (36%). At that, expectations of profit among top managers in Armenia increased this year by 15 percentage points, as compared to 2009: business profitability in 2010 is expected by 45% of the polled, as compared to 30% in 2009. 61% of Armenian companies’ leaders are pleased with local creditors, believing that they help development of business. 46% of the polled expect increase in economy financing in 2011. One fourth of the respondents believe that the level of financing will not change, and 14% expect reduction in financial resources. The majority of the polled top managers (44%) expressed an opinion that the crisis prevention program of the government turned out to be inefficient, 29% keep to a neutral opinion, and 16% of the polled consider the governmental program efficient.
