Yerevan/Mediamax/. “Grant Thornton Amyot” – member of “Grant Thornton International” Group, announced registration of a member firm in Tajikistan.

Mediamax was informed in Marketing Department of the Company that from 1st of October 2010, “Grant Thornton Tajikistan” officially entered the composition of “Grant Thornton International” as a full member. “Grant Thornton Amyot” shareholder Gurgen Hakobyan is appointed “Grant Thornton Tajikistan” Shareholder Director.

According to Gurgen Hakobyan, that the decision on founding the subsidiary company was conditioned by constant participation of “Grant Thornton Amyot” in international tenders, as a result of which the company developed a client base in Tajikistan in recent years. “Currently our main objective is to develop the newly established company and acquire leadership on the market, through increase of our technical and human resource capacity in Tajikistan”, Gurgen Hakobyan stressed.

“Grant Thornton Tajikistan” became the second subsidiary enterprise of “Grant Thornton Amyot” abroad after Georgia. “We have recently registered our new subsidiary in Dushanbe, which is an important step for us towards developing our network in the region. We hope that this firm will enjoy the same level of success as our firm experienced in Georgia”, Gyulbudaghyan, the Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Amyot LLC, stated.
