Yerevan/Mediamax/. “Armenian Currency History” exhibition was launched in Gyumri today at the initiative of the Central Bank.

The exhibition will last till October 21. Given assistance of the marz authorities, pupils’ visits to the exhibition will be organized.

At the launch of the exhibition, CB Board Member Ashot Mkrtchyan noted that organization of the exhibition aims at familiarizing the residents of the marz with the history of currency circulation and functions of the Central Bank.

CB organized analogous exhibitions in Lori, Tavush, Vayots Dzor and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic last year.
